Awaken your child’s curiosity in a small‑class bilingual (French–English) setting, with a programme that meets the objectives of the Swiss Romand Curriculum (Plan d’études romand, PER).
“Don’t go where the path may lead.
Go where there is no path and leave a trail.”
At Mies, we lay solid foundations from 1P to 8P: active teaching, progressive bilingual immersion and a caring environment, to learn with pleasure and confidence.
Each child progresses at their own pace thanks to concrete activities, projects and individualized monitoring.
French and English punctuate class life; language skills are built naturally on a daily basis.
Adapted spaces and classroom dynamics that encourage cooperation, curiosity and critical thinking.
Reading and writing, mathematics, science, arts: structured learning, aligned with the PER.
At Mies, we combine academic success with well-being. Our team supports each student with rigor and kindness to develop knowledge, work methods, and self-confidence.
We build lasting automatisms in reading, writing and numeracy, in order to approach the following years with confidence.
Classroom rituals, responsibilities and regular feedback help the child feel capable and proud of their progress.
Bilingualism and cultural projects open up to the world while promoting Swiss culture and local roots.
Hands-on activities, experiments, art projects: we encourage curiosity, imagination and problem solving.
We place the child’s development at the heart of learning. Small class sizes, attention to classroom climate, differentiation, and 21st-century skills (cooperation, communication, critical thinking) give meaning to learning.
In this environment, students develop effective methods, stable work habits, and a desire to learn—valuable assets for the rest of their schooling.
